If writing a keyword article seems too tedious or time consuming, you can always hire a web copywriter to do the work for you. You could either do a search for a web copywriter and email your favorites (this is how many of my clients have found my business), hit the yellow pages for local freelance copywriters, or use a freelancing website.
There are a great many freelancing websites on the Internet today that host hundreds of web copywriters, so it’s fairly easy to find someone who can do the work you require for a reasonable fee - and therefore the focus of this article.
If you have never purchased talent from a web copywriter before, there are some things to keep in mind.
There are a lot of freelancing websites on the Net right now, and some are easier to use than others. GetAFreelancer is one, with low fees ($5 or 5% of the gross project fee, whichever is larger) and thousands of web copywriters and programmers available at any given time. RentACoder is considerably more expensive (15% of the gross project fee) but also offers unique features not found elsewhere to protect both yourself and the writer, such as a mandatory escrowing of fees, complex algorithms for coder rating and full project support through the website. As a note, most freelancing sites expect you to communicate with your web copywriter elsewhere, whereas RentACoder strongly suggests everything is done on their site for potential mediation purposes later, and provides everything needed to do so.
You have to know a little bit about what you are asking someone else to write for you. If you don’t, research it first. Communicate clearly what it is you require and know immediately once the project is finished if the work was adequate or not, or ask for help from someone else before posting a project. The more details you can post in a project for a web copywriter to bid upon, the better.
Be prepared to ask as many questions as you feel you need to determine the best web copywriter for the job once you have several people who have offered their skills. Can you see some examples of their work? Do they have a history of satisfied clients? Can you speak with them or read testimonials? How long have they been writing professionally? What are their revision and editing policies? Will they sign a confidentiality agreement? A professional web copywriter will be able to answer each of your questions without hesitation.
If you’ve done your research, know exactly what you require and ask a lot of questions, you should easily be able to find a web copywriter who can create snappy, creative web copy that sings both to the search engines and your visitors alike.
